When, where and how?
H&F KRKONOŠE is a race for all pilots who like paragliding and hiking. The race consists of a prologue (Friday - optional) and the main race (Saturday).

Prologue [30.7.2021 18:00]
We have planned out the prologue to neutralize the weight differences of the competitors’ gear. We will transport the equipment for the flight section of the race up the hill for you, which means you will complete the first section without the parachutes. They will be waiting for you in a special depot close to the take-off spot. The next part of the Prologue is up to every racer’s decision - either you hike to the finish or you fly (which is always more fun, right?). With the parachute above your head or in your hands, but mainly with your legs on the ground, you just cross the finish line. The Prologue stage will feature a mass start, which means the first man or woman to get to the finish is the winner. Opening the H&F weekend in Krkonoše, the Prologue is an optional stage, not a prerequisite for the main race, so any pilot can join the main even if they have not completed the Prologue.
Main race H&F KRKONOŠE [31.7.2021 10:00]
The main race is a classic one-day Hike and Fly, where you fly or hike to complete the planned route as fast as possible. Ours will consist of turnpoints and places with a signature table. The competitors will be carrying all the mandatory equipment for the flight part (harness, parachute, rescue system, helmet, mobile phone). Assistance and support teams along the track are allowed and may provide psychological support, bring refreshments and/or carry additional equipment for the racers (not the mandatory gear though, this must be carried by the athlete alone). The route will be determined just before the start depending on the current weather forecast.
